We had the pleasure of working with The Blue Bus Community Ministries (BBCM), a registered Trust and Public Benefit Organisation that has been making a difference in the impoverished community of Delft for over 13 years. BBCM focuses on promoting the unlocking of the full life potential of the people, especially children, youth and families.
One of BBCM's recent initiatives involved the implementation of the "Resilient Youth" programme, developed by Dr Izanette van Schalkwyk as part of her PhD research. The aim of the programme was to help young people develop resilience and overcome challenges like poverty, low learning culture, and discouragement to pursue further education. Dr van Schalkwyk sought to implement the programme in a community where the need was great, and where the support of wealthy parents was not necessarily available.
We had the privilege of creating a short documentary video about the event hosted by BBCM to launch the "Resilient Youth" programme in Delft. Our team worked closely with BBCM to capture the spirit of the event and highlight the positive impact the programme was having on the community.
We are proud to have been a part of this initiative and to have had the opportunity to showcase BBCM's important work in our documentary video. We believe that projects like these can make a real difference in the lives of young people and we look forward to continuing to support BBCM in their future endeavours.
